From time to time, we all suffer from soft tissue injuries, whether caused by sport or other activities. Injuries could range from a strained back or a sprained ankle to a frozen shoulder or repetitive strain injury. Sports therapy can help alleviate the problem or help you recover without further injury.

Massage forms an important part of therapy. Due to the nature of sport, other physically demanding activity, or in come cases inactivity, the muscle fibres can start to adhere to each other creating what is commonly referred to as a knot. Sports massage is an ideal way to reduce these knots as well as increase joint mobility and muscle flexibility.

Most treatments start with an initial one hour session to assess the problem and start the sports therapy. Subsequent sessions will include a treatment together with rehabilitative exercises and stretches to be carried out on your own.
