Exercise is universally good for you. Unfortunately often those who could benefit most from exercise don’t do it. This is especially true for those who are getting older, or have underlying medical conditions.

 

With the right knowledge, exercise is a safe and rewarding way to improve the quality of your life. As a G.P. Referral qualified instructor I can guide you through the process of starting to exercise, taking into account any limitations you may have.

 

I am specifically trained to help exercise those with the following medical conditions:

 

Hypertension (high blood pressure), obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, knee and hip replacements, asthma and chronic lung disease, arterial disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and common mental health problems.

 

Your exercise programme will be carefully designed to take into account your medical history and effects of medication you may be taking, so you can be confident it will be safe for you. I can work alongside your G.P., or other healthcare professional should the need arise.
