Stroke is the biggest cause of disability in this county. There is often no warning beforehand, and the consequences can be devastating. A third of those who suffer a stroke are left with a disability. Many people are discharged from the N.H.S. not knowing what to do next, or where to turn to for help.

Exercise has been shown to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors as well as to reduce the risk of a further stroke. There are many considerations to be taken into account. These can include how the stroke has affected the person both physically and mentally, as well as other underlying medical conditions which often accompany a stroke.

I have two qualifications in stroke specific exercise:   ARNI Trust Functional Training After Stroke, and the Later Life Training Exercise and Fitness Training after Stroke

Please contact me to discuss how you or a family member could benefit by exercising after a stroke
